Shutter speed
the globe image:
i used slow shutter speed to take the picture. i had my ISO setting on 800, and i had my white balance on Tungsten light. i had the camera on the "S" setting. to get the blur i spun the globe around at a fast pace. to take the picture i was relatively close to the object, less than a foot away. some compositional elements that are present that i think make the shot stronger is how i had the globe coming from the bottom left corner and created a negative space in the right corner.

Painting with light
The third photo on the top row all the way to the right:
i had the camera on a slow shutter speed, and used colorful string lights to take the picture. to achieve the image i spun my light into circles and walked diagonally across the room. hopefully the image makes the viewer feel the fun vibes i hope it gives off with the colors and the loops of the light.

Aperture
the first image on the left on the top row: (shallow depth of field)
my camera was set on 800 for iso and i had it on the day light setting for white balance. for my f-stop i used f/4
the last picture on the right, top row: (large depth of field)
my camera was set on 800 for iso and i had it on the day light setting for white balance. for my f-stop i used f/16
in my opinion the shallow depth of field image is better, i just like how it looks when whatever is in the front is in focus and the back is all blurry, i feel it makes the image more powerful. in a situation where you would want everything to be in focus, or what you are taking a picture of is all on one plan then it would be better to use a large depth of field.
